Kajimoto Artists November 2012

Two world premieres will take place on 24th November at the Cité de la Musique in a concert conducted by Pascal Rophé at the head of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France: Inner Circle by Tinoco and Amphitheater by Levinas. Also on the programme, Terretektohr by Xenakis and Ligeti's Lontano.

 

 

 

Louis Lortie will perform Chopin's Concerto No. 2 with the Cleveland Orchestra and Jaap van Zweden on 23rd, 24th and 25th November in Cleveland before flying to Japan to play Beethoven Concerto No. 2 with Augustin Dumay and the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra and with Charles Dutoit and the NHK Symphony Orchestra.

 


On 8th and 9th November, Christian Arming is at the head of the Seville Symphony Orchestra in the beautiful Teatro de la Maestranza in a program devoted to works of A. Garcia Abril ("Cantos de Pleamar") Poulenc (Piano Concerto) and Tchaikovsky (Symphony No. 5).

From November 15th to 25th he will conduct seven concerts with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, of which he is the Musical Director.
 

 

Momo Kodama and her sister Mari will perform the Concerto for two pianos by Jean Pascal Beintus on the 27th and 28th November in Monte-Carlo, alongside the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo under the direction of Kent Nagano.

 

 

 

Yoel Levi and the Orchestre National d'Ile de France will present a series of concerts around the theme of the Arabian Nights in Sarcelles on the 17th, Meaux 18th, 20th in Coignières and 25th in Villejuif. On the programme: Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 3 with Plamena Mangova and Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov.

 

 

Jean-Frédéric Neuburger is at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées alongside Henri and Olivier Charlier Demarquette performing Haydn, Liszt, Brahms and Schubert on 11th November.

 


 

 

Violinist Ye Eun Choi performs an all-Mozart programme with Iddo Bar-Shai and Gérard Caussé at the Folle Nuit in Tours on the 30th November and in Marseille on the 1st December.
 


 

 

 

Haochen Zhang makes his debut with Okko Kamu and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra on 2nd November performing Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2.
