Kajimoto Artists February 2015


Jorge Luis Prats is in recital at the Philharmonic Hall in Liège on the 1st February before going on to perform at the Harpa Hall in Reykjavik on the 6th February. On the programme, his signature repertoire including Granados, Cervantes, Guerrero and Farinas. 
 

On the 11th February he will perform Rachmaninov’s Piano concerto no. 2 at the Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Vasily Petrenko.

 

 

Haochen Zhang is in Japan to play Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Michiyoshi Inoue on the 8th February.   
 

On the 19th and 20th February he makes his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra under Xian Zhang performing Triple Ressurection by Tan Dun.

 

 

Following solo recitals at the Folle Journée de Nantes announcing the release of his debut all-Bach CD, Victoires de la musique ‘Revelation’ nominee Rémi Geniet goes on to perform Bach and Chopinat the Teatro Rossini de Lugano (4 February), La Folle Criée de Marseille (7 February),La Folle Nuit de Nîmes (7 February), the Théâtre et Auditorium de Poitiers (18 February) and at the Bozar de Bruxelles (22 February).

 

 

Augustin Dumay performs Mendelssohn’s Violin concerto with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra on the 7th February at Carnegie Hall prior to recording the same work with the orchestra in the same month.

 

 

 

 

Sylvain Blassel performs with the Musiciens du Louvre Grenoble at the Philharmonie de Paris on the 19th February in a programme called ‘The Romantic French Opera’.

 

 


 

 

Nabil Shehata conducts Don Giovanni at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf on the 19th and 28th February.

 

 

 


 

 

Kun Woo Paik performs the two Chopin piano concertos on the 21st February in Poland with the Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Antoni Wit.

 

 

 

 

 

Aurélien Pascal performs Schubert’s String Quintet with the Pražák Quartet in the last concert of the 2015 Folle journee on the 3rd February in Tours. 
 

 Following a concert featuring the Ravel trio celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the work’s first performance with Denis Pascal and Svetlin Roussev

Christian Arming conducts five performances ofDvořák’sRusalka at the FrankfurtState Opera(5th, 13th, 15th, 21th and 27th February).
 

On the 22nd February he will be at the head of the Liege Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the Philharmonic Hall to conduct a concert featuring music by Wagner, alongside the baritone Evgeny Nikitin.

 

 

Following performances in recital, chamber music and with orchestra at the Folle journee de Nantes,  Jean-Frédéric Neuburger  opens the season at the new  Cité de la Musique et de la Danse in Soissons performing Ravel’s Concerto in G on the 7th February with Les Siècles under the baton of François-Xavier Roth.
 

 

 

Pascal Rophé will conduct several concerts with the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire in a programme including Bartók’s Piano concerto no. 2 with Jean-Efflam Bavouzet and Beethoven’s Symphony no. 3.

 


 

 

 

Lukas Geniušas will be on tour giving recitals in Russia before performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano concerto no. 2 with Paweł Przytocki and the Szczecin Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

 

 



 

Andrei Feher, Assistant Conductor of Orchestre de Paris, conducts the orchestra in Ravel’s Ma mère l’Oye at the Philharmonie de Paris on the 5th February.
